What’s BOBCATSSS ?
Bobcatsss is independent European non-governmental and non-profit association.
The purpose of the Association is to promote European cooperation within library and information science (LIS) education and research, and to provide a body through which European interest regarding LIS education can be represented. As its current form, the association does not take members, instead anyone can participate.


In 2020, BOBCATSSS is in Paris
Bobcatsss 2020 was held in Paris on 30 January 2020. Tania Todorova and Denitsa Krumova present the main theme during the talk “Information Management, Fake News and Disinformation” and the different aspects were presented by keynote speakers – M. Fontanin, Vincent Nozick and Rose-Marie Farinella. They underlined the professional collaborative work of the organizing teams from Université Gustave Eiffel, managed by Joumana Boustany, and University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria on preparation of that 28th edition. They summarized the international scope of the event (more than 230 participants from 20 countries), the hospitality of the Université Gustave Eiffel, and the role of BOBCATSSS Association.
