Compte tenu de la myriade de styles de citation disponibles, les auteurs sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un d\u00e9fi de taille en mati\u00e8re de ma\u00eetrise de l'information : s\u00e9lectionner le bon style, le rep\u00e9rer dans leur gestionnaire de citations et encadrer correctement leurs r\u00e9f\u00e9rences (Kratochv\u00edl, 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le dilemme est que la pl\u00e9thore de styles de citation, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 certaines revues qui cr\u00e9ent des styles uniques ou modifi\u00e9s, impose un fardeau aux auteurs. Ces derniers, bien qu'experts dans leur domaine, ne ma\u00eetrisent pas n\u00e9cessairement tous les styles de citation, mais on attend d'eux qu'ils s'y conforment (Rozell, 2022). Par cons\u00e9quent, des incoh\u00e9rences apparaissent dans le respect des styles de citation. Cette irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9 signifie que les algorithmes d\u00e9tectent les erreurs de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, ce qui entrave la fluidit\u00e9 de la communication savante. En outre, le manque de normalisation complique les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences crois\u00e9es. Les articles correctement cit\u00e9s sont plus faciles \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir et \u00e0 consulter. L'absence de lignes directrices claires en mati\u00e8re de style de citation constitue une charge suppl\u00e9mentaire pour les auteurs, et l'utilisation de styles de citation largement accept\u00e9s peut permettre aux auteurs de se concentrer davantage sur le contenu que sur la mise en forme. Les enseignements tir\u00e9s de ces r\u00e9sultats peuvent \u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans les cours de r\u00e9daction universitaire, et les biblioth\u00e9caires peuvent tirer des le\u00e7ons pr\u00e9cieuses des d\u00e9fis associ\u00e9s aux styles de citation. Un environnement aussi riche en informations exige en effet une r\u00e9flexion critique, pierre angulaire de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information (Denick, Bhatt &amp; Layton, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cherchant \u00e0 faire la lumi\u00e8re sur la position des revues savantes en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences et sur le r\u00f4le central de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information, j'ai entrepris une \u00e9tude approfondie des principales revues lituaniennes index\u00e9es dans la base de donn\u00e9es Scopus. Mon objectif \u00e9tait d'\u00e9valuer la pr\u00e9valence des styles de citation, de comprendre comment les revues formulent leurs directives de citation et d'\u00e9valuer l'importance accord\u00e9e \u00e0 l'int\u00e9gration des DOI dans les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es proviennent des sites web des revues, de la base de donn\u00e9es Scopus, des lignes directrices des revues et des politiques \u00e9ditoriales. Les types de donn\u00e9es comprenaient : 1) les styles de citation mentionn\u00e9s, 2) la clart\u00e9 des lignes directrices (d\u00e9signation des styles, exemples de citation, etc.), 3) toute divergence ou incoh\u00e9rence dans les lignes directrices, 4) le statut d'acc\u00e8s ouvert ou ferm\u00e9, 5) la discipline et le classement de la revue dans Scopus. Mes m\u00e9thodes d'analyse comprenaient 1) l'analyse descriptive ; 2) l'analyse du contenu ; 3) l'analyse comparative ; 4) l'analyse des erreurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mes recherches ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu'une part importante (54,1 %) des revues est ambigu\u00eb quant au style de citation souhait\u00e9, fournissant souvent des exemples au lieu de directives transparentes. Cette impr\u00e9cision pose des probl\u00e8mes du point de vue de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information, obligeant les auteurs \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter ces styles \"sans nom\". Des outils tels que ChatGPT-4 les ont identifi\u00e9s comme refl\u00e9tant les styles \u00e9tablis (par exemple, APA, Vancouver), mais parfois avec des modifications subtiles. De telles nuances, m\u00eame pour des gestionnaires de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sophistiqu\u00e9s, accentuent l'importance de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En outre, bien que l'importance des DOI pour la validation et la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 des informations soit bien reconnue, seulement 41,1 % des revues exigent explicitement leur inclusion. Cependant, un pourcentage impressionnant de 78,1 % incorpore les DOI dans leurs listes de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences. Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que l'influence de la g\u00e9ographie semble minime, la discipline de la revue ayant un effet plus prononc\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, mon enqu\u00eate souligne le r\u00f4le crucial de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information dans l'\u00e9dition universitaire.
