Ces disparit\u00e9s sont particuli\u00e8rement ressenties par les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es qui, bien que d\u00e9j\u00e0 confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes structurels li\u00e9s \u00e0 leur cohorte d'\u00e2ge (par exemple, statut socio\u00e9conomique, probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9, m\u00e9fiance \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard de la technologie), voient la qualit\u00e9 de leur acc\u00e8s concret aux ressources num\u00e9riques affect\u00e9e par ces d\u00e9ficits (Hunsaker &amp; Hargittai, 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La politique publique \u00e9cossaise se concentre actuellement sur le d\u00e9veloppement de la culture num\u00e9rique du point de vue de l'\u00e9conomie et de l'enseignement scolaire (gouvernement \u00e9cossais, 2021), malgr\u00e9 les recherches qui sugg\u00e8rent qu'environ 22 % des adultes au Royaume-Uni n'ont toujours pas les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques de base n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la vie quotidienne (Lloyds Bank, 2022). Les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es sont touch\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e et il n'existe pas de politiques ou d'actions \u00e9quivalentes ax\u00e9es sur le d\u00e9veloppement de leurs besoins strat\u00e9giques particuliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les biblioth\u00e8ques publiques sont particuli\u00e8rement bien plac\u00e9es pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 leur r\u00f4le central dans la vie publique et les niveaux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de confiance dont elles jouissent (Barrie et al., 2021). Les biblioth\u00e8ques publiques peuvent \u00e9galement aborder les probl\u00e8mes sociologiques complexes auxquels sont confront\u00e9s les adultes plus \u00e2g\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re holistique, inclusive et participative et, en tant que \"leaders dans la formation aux comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques communautaires\" (Detlor et al., 2022), elles peuvent \u00eatre le v\u00e9hicule permettant de faire progresser de nouvelles approches de la litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique men\u00e9es par les utilisateurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectifs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet utilisera une m\u00e9thodologie de recherche-action participative pour examiner le mod\u00e8le de ma\u00eetrise de l'information de CILIP (CILIP, 2018) en d\u00e9veloppant des interventions dirig\u00e9es par les utilisateurs visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques chez les adultes plus \u00e2g\u00e9s. Cela se fera par le biais d'un engagement longitudinal avec un groupe \u00e9tabli d'adultes \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 60 ans comprenant environ 40 participants du secteur des biblioth\u00e8ques publiques \u00e9cossaises.
