{"id":1674,"date":"2023-10-17T16:47:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-17T16:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inlitas.org\/?p=1674"},"modified":"2024-02-15T13:39:22","modified_gmt":"2024-02-15T13:39:22","slug":"library-instruction-for-mis-disinformation-french-and-u-s-perspectives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inlitas.org\/fr\/library-instruction-for-mis-disinformation-french-and-u-s-perspectives\/","title":{"rendered":"L'enseignement en biblioth\u00e8que pour la d\u00e9sinformation : Perspectives fran\u00e7aises et am\u00e9ricaines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L'attention port\u00e9e aux d\u00e9fis de la d\u00e9sinformation s'est accrue avec la reconnaissance de l'influence de la d\u00e9sinformation sur les \u00e9lections pr\u00e9sidentielles am\u00e9ricaines successives, le vote du Brexit, d'autres \u00e9lections et initiatives \u00e9lectorales dans le monde entier, et la r\u00e9ponse au vaccin antiviral contre le virus COVID-19. En 2013, le Forum \u00e9conomique mondial a identifi\u00e9 la d\u00e9sinformation comme l'une des trois principales menaces mondiales (Howell, 2013) et, dans son rapport 2019, le Forum a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu'il reconnaissait que \"parmi les impacts les plus r\u00e9pandus et les plus perturbateurs de l'IA ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, il y a son r\u00f4le dans la mont\u00e9e des \"chambres d'\u00e9cho des m\u00e9dias et des fake news\"\" (Forum \u00e9conomique mondial, 2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La crise de la d\u00e9sinformation a conduit \u00e0 des appels \u00e0 une plus grande attention \u00e0 la formation \u00e0 la ma\u00eetrise de l'information et des nouvelles, et les biblioth\u00e8ques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es comme l'une des institutions cl\u00e9s pour fournir une telle formation (Jaeger &amp; Taylor, 2021). Cependant, les biblioth\u00e9caires universitaires d\u00e9pendent souvent de l'int\u00e9r\u00eat et de l'invitation du corps enseignant pour s'engager dans l'enseignement de la biblioth\u00e9conomie. M\u00eame lorsqu'ils disposent de temps en classe, ils doivent souvent adapter leur enseignement aux cours, devoirs et orientations sp\u00e9cifiques de la facult\u00e9, ce qui ne leur permet pas toujours d'aborder les sujets de d\u00e9sinformation en profondeur. En effet, une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de plus de 700 enseignants de diverses disciplines aux \u00c9tats-Unis a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que si la grande majorit\u00e9 d'entre eux reconnaissent que la d\u00e9sinformation est un probl\u00e8me et qu'il est important d'enseigner la ma\u00eetrise de l'information, ils ne pensent pas tous qu'il leur incombe d'enseigner ces comp\u00e9tences, et tr\u00e8s peu d'entre eux d\u00e9clarent travailler avec un biblioth\u00e9caire pour aborder la d\u00e9sinformation en classe (Saunders, 2022). Cette enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des enseignants a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie en 2022 d'une enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des biblioth\u00e9caires universitaires aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Comme pour l'enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des enseignants, on a demand\u00e9 aux biblioth\u00e9caires leur point de vue sur divers aspects de la d\u00e9sinformation, s'ils abordaient les th\u00e8mes de la d\u00e9sinformation dans leur enseignement et comment ils le faisaient, et ce qu'ils pensaient des comp\u00e9tences des \u00e9tudiants en mati\u00e8re de ma\u00eetrise de l'information (Saunders, \u00e0 para\u00eetre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des biblioth\u00e9caires universitaires a \u00e9t\u00e9 reproduite en France \u00e0 l'automne 2023. Dans cette session, les pan\u00e9listes partageront les r\u00e9sultats des enqu\u00eates des deux pays, explorant la fa\u00e7on dont les biblioth\u00e9caires de chaque pays per\u00e7oivent les d\u00e9fis de la d\u00e9sinformation, les outils et les r\u00e9ponses qu'ils consid\u00e8rent comme les plus efficaces pour combattre ces d\u00e9fis, et la mesure dans laquelle ils enseignent ces concepts \u00e0 leurs \u00e9tudiants. Les pan\u00e9listes fourniront une comparaison pr\u00e9liminaire des r\u00e9ponses entre les deux pays et les compareront aux r\u00e9ponses des facult\u00e9s de l'\u00e9tude pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Ils concluront par des recommandations visant \u00e0 renforcer la collaboration entre les enseignants et les biblioth\u00e9caires, et \u00e0 int\u00e9grer davantage les th\u00e8mes de la d\u00e9sinformation dans l'enseignement de la biblioth\u00e9conomie. Cette session se pr\u00eate bien \u00e0 une pr\u00e9sentation en panel, car les pr\u00e9sentateurs commenceront par rendre compte de deux \u00e9tudes distinctes, avant de comparer les r\u00e9sultats de chacune d'entre elles.
