Dans le contexte actuel, les probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s aux fake news et \u00e0 la d\u00e9sinformation rendent leur action encore plus urgente, n\u00e9cessitant une position solide dans la lutte contre ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, principalement par le biais de la clarification et de la formation de la population. Dans le cas des biblioth\u00e8ques universitaires, quelques \u00e9tudes montrent l'engagement des professionnels dans l'approfondissement des actions et des projets de lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation (Antunes et al., 2021), m\u00eame si, au Portugal, il n'y a pas d'\u00e9tudes sur les activit\u00e9s des biblioth\u00e8ques publiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La litt\u00e9rature met en \u00e9vidence les avantages suivants \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper ces projets dans les biblioth\u00e8ques publiques :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l'importance de renforcer les capacit\u00e9s d'\u00e9valuation des sources d'information ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le d\u00e9veloppement de la pens\u00e9e critique pour lutter contre la d\u00e9sinformation ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>le renforcement de la citoyennet\u00e9 et de l'autonomie des individus et de leur potentiel cr\u00e9atif ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la formation de penseurs critiques proactifs bas\u00e9e sur des strat\u00e9gies valid\u00e9es de ma\u00eetrise de l'information ;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>et exhorte les d\u00e9cideurs \u00e0 inscrire les intentions et les actions \u00e0 l'ordre du jour de leurs politiques (Commission europ\u00e9enne, 2016). Cependant, il faut que les professionnels de l'information des biblioth\u00e8ques publiques soient conscients du probl\u00e8me (Sayers, 2006), qu'ils soient dot\u00e9s de ces aptitudes et comp\u00e9tences (Matteson et Gersch, 2020) et qu'ils s'engagent dans une culture de partage des ressources et des connaissances autour de la question (Harding, 2008). Mais comment savoir si et comment ils d\u00e9veloppent ces actions ? Cette \u00e9tude exploratoire vise \u00e0 mieux comprendre le niveau de connaissances, les pratiques et les ressources disponibles dans les biblioth\u00e8ques publiques portugaises pour lutter contre la d\u00e9sinformation. \u00c0 cette fin, un questionnaire compos\u00e9 de 12 questions a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 et distribu\u00e9 via les r\u00e9seaux sociaux des biblioth\u00e8ques publiques et par courrier \u00e9lectronique. Soixante-dix r\u00e9ponses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues et distribu\u00e9es sur l'ensemble du territoire national, repr\u00e9sentant environ un quart du total des 303 biblioth\u00e8ques publiques municipales du Portugal. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que les biblioth\u00e9caires ont une bonne connaissance du sujet, mais que leurs actions de lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation sont encore balbutiantes. Les pratiques qui abordent directement la lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation et les fausses nouvelles par le biais de la formation \u00e0 la ma\u00eetrise de l'information sont rares et manquent de conseils pour leur application. La lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation est globale et urgente (Commission europ\u00e9enne, 2022), ce qui rend tr\u00e8s pertinente la formation des biblioth\u00e9caires eux-m\u00eames pour utiliser leur effet multiplicateur dans les strat\u00e9gies de formation avec la population, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre d'une culture citoyenne plus attentive, int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R\u00e9f\u00e9rences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Antunes, M.
