LGBTQ+ d\u00e9signe la communaut\u00e9 des lesbiennes, gays, bisexuels, transgenres et queers, le plus repr\u00e9sentant un large \u00e9ventail d'autres identit\u00e9s telles que les personnes pansexuelles, asexuelles, aromantiques et intersexu\u00e9es. Les personnes ayant une identit\u00e9 LGBTQ+ peuvent \u00eatre confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques en mati\u00e8re de bien-\u00eatre mental et physique, ainsi qu'\u00e0 une peur de la discrimination lorsqu'elles acc\u00e8dent aux soins de sant\u00e9 formels (Bachmann et Gooch, 2018). Une pratique de ma\u00eetrise de l'information est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une mani\u00e8re contextuelle, socialement construite et incarn\u00e9e de conna\u00eetre le paysage de l'information (Lloyd 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le discours sur l'autosuivi indique qu'il peut engendrer un sentiment d'autonomisation et de contr\u00f4le gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la collecte de donn\u00e9es qui permettent d'acqu\u00e9rir des connaissances sur soi-m\u00eame (Lupton 2016). Cela peut conduire \u00e0 un sentiment de changement positif et d'am\u00e9lioration et \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d'objectifs de sant\u00e9 (Lunde et al. 2018). Des recherches ant\u00e9rieures ont identifi\u00e9 quatre dimensions de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information dans l'autosurveillance : la compr\u00e9hension de la valeur de la qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es saisies, la capacit\u00e9 d'interpr\u00e9ter les informations suivies dans le contexte des limites de l'application ou de l'appareil, la sensibilisation \u00e0 la protection de la vie priv\u00e9e et \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es et les nuances du partage des donn\u00e9es suivies (Cox et al. 2017 ; McKinney et al. 2019). La surveillance participative \u00e0 partir d'applications de sant\u00e9, en particulier autour de questions sexosp\u00e9cifiques telles que la menstruation, est un sujet de pr\u00e9occupation (Healy 2021). Il existe peu de recherches sur la nature distinctive de l'autopistage dans la communaut\u00e9 LGBTQ+ et sur la nature de la ma\u00eetrise de l'information dans ce paysage, et cette petite \u00e9tude exploratoire apporte une contribution importante \u00e0 la recherche dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude a adopt\u00e9 une m\u00e9thodologie qualitative interpr\u00e9tativiste : six entretiens semi-structur\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s et transcrits par un \u00e9tudiant chercheur dans le cadre d'un stage de recherche r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9. L'\u00e9quipe de recherche a ensuite proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au codage et \u00e0 l'analyse th\u00e9matique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principales conclusions sont que les participants font du suivi pour g\u00e9rer et surveiller leur sant\u00e9 ; l'exp\u00e9rience du suivi comme moyen de soutenir la sant\u00e9 mentale a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9e. Bien qu'ils se m\u00e9fient de la mani\u00e8re dont les applications utilisent leurs donn\u00e9es, ils acceptent simplement le risque. C'est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement parce que la commodit\u00e9 de l'application l'emporte sur leurs pr\u00e9occupations en mati\u00e8re de protection de la vie priv\u00e9e. Le partage des donn\u00e9es \u00e9tait nuanc\u00e9 : souvent limit\u00e9 en raison de la g\u00eane ou de la peur d'\u00eatre jug\u00e9, mais accept\u00e9 lorsqu'il y avait un sentiment de travailler vers un objectif commun. Il existe un lien entre l'utilisation des applications et l'identit\u00e9 LGBTQ+.
